I’ve been proud to call Redding, California, my home for over 20 years, raising my children here and giving them a vibrant life in our community. In addition to my work as a loan officer in Shasta County, I’ve had the privilege of serving with Catalyst Mentoring, where I help guide at-risk youth toward brighter futures. I also sit on the Steering Committee for Leadership Redding and represent our Assemblywoman on our local central committee. My commitment to my family and community reflects my passion for making a positive impact—both professionally and philanthropically—in the lives of others here in Redding and throughout the Northstate.
My career started as a technologist crafting visual designs and experiences for web and mobile applications across a variety of industries from Fortune 500s to founders of startups. I started Mindbox Studios with a few friends in 2007 that became a leading U.S.-based technology services and product marketing team. After 10 years our team served Fortune 500 companies, robotics integrators, government-funded technology projects, as well as angel-backed startups. In 2015, my family moved to Northern California where we began the developing residential and commercial property. Outside of raising my family with my wife, Rebekah, I spend most of my time on real estate projects and volunteering in my local community.
I was born and raised in Northern California and went on to graduate from UC Davis before earning my law degree from the University of the Pacific – McGeorge School of Law, where I focused on trial advocacy. In 2009, I co-founded Arthofer & Tonkin Law Offices, and since then I’ve dedicated my career to representing clients in a wide range of cases, from personal injury to complex property loss. Outside the courtroom, I enjoy spending time with my family, staying active through running, boxing, mountain biking, and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, and taking part in a variety of outdoor activities and shooting sports.
I’m a nursing instructor and clinical coordinator at Simpson University, where I’ve been helping shape the next generation of nurses for over a decade. With nearly 30 years of nursing experience, much of it in labor and delivery, I’ve developed a deep passion for walking with people through their most important seasons of life. I also founded True Balance Health to combine my background in nursing with functional medicine, helping others find root-cause healing and sustainable wellness. Beyond work, I’m the author of the devotional Abide, and I enjoy leading couples retreats with my husband and spending time with our four children.
I’m a Board Certified Behavior Analyst with several years of experience mentoring, coaching, and working with schools to solve challenges through a behavior analytic approach. I’m passionate about helping students reach their full potential and love bringing creativity and problem-solving into my work every day. Outside of work, you’ll usually find me in the gym with a basketball, spending time with my two kids, or enjoying life with my amazing wife. At the end of the day, I’m just trying to make a difference—one person at a time.
I was born and raised in Northern California and spent my career in law enforcement, serving with the Red Bluff Police Department before joining the Shasta County Sheriff’s Office, where I rose from detective to undersheriff and was later appointed Sheriff in 2019. I’ve always believed in integrity, accountability, and community engagement as the foundation of public service, and even in retirement I remain active through the Good News Rescue Mission and the Redding Rodeo Association. My wife and I are proud to call Redding home, and I’m passionate about preserving our county’s culture while giving back to the community that has given so much to us.
I’m a proud native of Redding, California, and I’ve always been drawn to the beauty of my hometown. My husband, Tyler, and I are high school sweethearts from Enterprise High, and together we share a love for adventure and exploration. Most weekends, you’ll find us out enjoying Redding’s landscapes with our two rescue dogs by our side. In 2020, I graduated from Chico State, and today I work at a local digital marketing firm where my attention to detail and dedication help keep operations running seamlessly.
